My aim is to make everything new, or to near new as possible. I'm starting with the crank and pistons.
Here's a nice little drawing of the block off the Punto CD. I can see that coming in really handy! The CD that is, not the dawing:
I have also placed all the diagrams and drawings off the CD on my fotki account:

Been to the metro today, got myself a Draper Torque wrench. I hope it's alright?
I tried out my service CD for the Punto too, it's quite good actually.

The engine is now completely stripped and the block is now ready to be sent off and sand blasted.
I'm thinking that I should also send some other bits to be acid dipped and re-coated. I'm not sure?
Any idea's on what colour I should go? I'm thinking Black?

Got all the cams off, had a look over the variator, It seems in alright nick, but I would still like to replace the whole thing with a Bravo/a head so it doesn't have the VVT.
Seen a decent one on eBay for £125, think I might invest.
Need to get a new/bigger torx bit for the head bolts as mine doesn't go that high.
